Cleveland meteorologist Sam Roberts announces departure from WOIO

Longtime Cleveland meteorologist Samantha “Sam” Roberts announced on X (formerly Twitter) that February 6 will be her last day at CBS News affiliate station WOIO.

“I’ve learned over the years that while you can predict the weather, predicting your own future is probably a fool’s errand. So, today is my last day at Cleveland 19, WUAB Channel 43, and Telemundo Cleveland. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for welcoming me into your homes on all three channels,” Roberts said in the post.

Roberts joined WOIO in 2015 and previously worked in Richmond, Virginia.
