Incredibly, after today’s game concludes the divisional round of the playoffs, there are only three games left in the NFL.
That’s always a sobering realization at this time of year, and it’s also fitting for Dry January. After months of games, multiple days a week, we’re approaching the AFC and NFC championship games, and then the Super Bowl.

Fear not, Browns fans, because even though Cleveland’s No. 1 sports franchise has once again opted out of the playoffs, the team still has plenty to do.
This week brings more interviews for head coaching positions, the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl are coming up, along with NFL free agency and everyone’s favorite three-day party, the 2026 NFL Draft.
Before you know it, those orange helmets will be stretching out on the practice field in Berea for the start of training camp and another exciting football season for the Cleveland Browns!

Texans’ Ryans, Pats’ Vrabel turn around former team’s decline (ESPN) — During Demeco Ryans’ first season as coach of the Houston Texans, he was unexpectedly stopped by a fan in a grocery store. The exchange was brief but memorable. The fan told Ryans he was watching Texans football games again. The success and new energy the former Texas linebacker brought to Houston held him back.
