We’re truly living in the future of college basketball as Clemson is traveling across the country for an intra-conference game that doesn’t start until 10 p.m. ET. The Tigers (18-4, 8-1 ACC) face the Stanford Cardinals (14-8, 3-6 ACC).
Stanford has a net rating of 77 and this is currently a Final Four matchup. The Cardinals are 9-5 at home and 4-3 in four games, but have lost four straight. They rank 13th in the ACC, outside the top ten in points scored and allowed.
Clemson is riding a two-game winning streak and has won 11 of its last 12 games. They are second in the ACC, just 1.5 games behind Duke. Clemson plays Duke Next Saturday is Valentine’s Day, so they have to stay in second place. Clemson will likely have to beat Stanford, Cal and Virginia Tech to retain its spot in the ACC. Most importantly, the Tigers will have a chance to build on their impressive road winning streak. Clemson has won its past 12 West Conference road games, tying Virginia from 2017-2019 for the fourth-longest winning streak in ACC history.
