Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan appeared as a guest on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams to share his thoughts on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s public profile and influence in the game.
“Taylor (Swift) has been great for us. Everything has been great. She’s a phenomenon. She’s a special person,” Donovan said. “I told Travis (Kyles), ‘Listen, we’re going to respect you and your relationship as much as we would any other player or coach relationship. It’s a relationship. We’re not going to monetize it, we’re not going to go crazy out there.'”
Out of respect for the couple, the Chiefs didn’t follow the TV trend and show Swift on the stadium big screen.

“We never showed Taylor on the big board in our stadium, ever. He scored touchdowns. He caught the ball. It belongs to Taylor. Especially that first year,” Donovan said. “We never showed Taylor on the big board in our stadium, ever. “It was respectful. We won’t do that. “
Donovan emphasized that Kelce remains focused on the team and the team has no interest in taking advantage of their false relationship.
