Obi Chito suffered a head injury
United did not send him out on loan in January, with the club aiming to win four age-group trophies this season.

With concussion protocols set to be strictly adhered to, United face a tense wait to see if the Denmark U20 international can make it in time for the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals against Sunderland on March 18.

The Manchester Evening News outlines the FA’s guidance on head injuries and when players can return.
Concussion Protocol to Follow
“The Premier League and the FA have rules on how to deal with head injuries, which provide clear ‘return to play’ guidance for players suspected of suffering concussion. These rules state that no player must return to competitive play for at least six days.
“Thereafter, players can progress one step every 24 hours. The steps are: no physical activity, light aerobic activity, sport-specific training, non-contact training, full contact training and then return to play (after the club’s medical officer gives the all-clear).”

Chido Obi will be disappointed not to break into the first team this season after his breakthrough last time out.
Chido Obi is key to Manchester United winning FA Youth Cup again
But the club coach is happy with his progress. If he helps the U21 team win the PL2 championship and the U18 team wins the FA Youth Cup, then his season will definitely be considered a success.
Who knows? The club may change their mind and choose not to loan him out in the summer.
