When the final whistle blew, Hoffenheim suffered a 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich. Few would have expected such a heavy defeat, or the fact that Kevin Akpoguma’s red card resulted in a Bayern penalty, making the visitors’ job even harder. Except for one person.
This Hoffenheim fan, user @bene1899, QRT’d (quote retweeted) Hoffenheim’s lineup post and said:
Akpo [Akpoguma] Either risk your life in the game or get sent off and concede a penalty. There is nothing in between.
Unfortunately for User and Hoffenheim, Akpoguma conceded a penalty and was sent off as a result. Even BFW user Fleetwell did his best to equalize for Hoffenheim after Bayern led 2-1, but luckily Harry Kane and Luis Diaz had other ideas.

Regardless, Michael Ollis picked up his fifth yellow card and therefore misses Bayern’s game against Werder Bremen next weekend. But hey, the referee (Tobias Stiller) was a lot better today than he was last week.
