HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Braylon Mullins scored 16 points and Alex Karaban added 15 as No. 4 UConn extended its winning streak to 12 games with a 72-60 win over DePaul on Saturday.
Mullins was active on both sides of the court, contributing 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Silas Demary Jr. had 14 points, four assists and three steals for the Huskies (16-1, 6-0 Big East).
Layden Blocker scored 16 points, Brandon Maclin had 12 and C.J. Gunn scored nine of his 11 points in the second half for DePaul (10-7, 2-4), which has lost its 21st straight game to UConn.
Mullins’ three-pointer and Demary’s buzzer-beating three-pointer gave the Huskies a 37-27 halftime lead. At the beginning of the second half, they went on an 11-3 run, extending their lead to 18 points.
DePaul never got closer than 12 points the rest of the game.
The Blue Devils scored a field goal 8 minutes and 25 seconds into the second half.
UConn took its first double-digit lead in the first half when Jaden Rose hit three free throws after a three-point foul. DePaul missed 12 of its first 15 shots and Theo Pierre-Justin responded with two 3-pointers during a 10-4 run.

DePaul has held Big East opponents under 80 points four consecutive times for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
