The Boston Celtics will return to TD Garden to end a long road trip looking to get back into the winning column after losing to their Eastern Conference rivals on the road this weekend. The Celtics will host the Portland Trail Blazers in a cross-conference matchup that will bring veteran guard Jrue Holiday back to Boston for the first time since being traded to Portland in the 2025 NBA offseason.
Even with some potentially negative health news, if the Celtics respect their opponents, they should win this game. But Boston can’t get past this tilt if they don’t want to start the kind of winning streak that only increases their lottery odds, as they opt to extend their home stretch.
