“The new Black Myth title – officially revealed today,” Game Science said, providing a description of Black Myth: Zhong Kui:

“No ghost walks the earth till born in the heart; on stage and off, gods fall into demons—their perfect art. Game Science said that “Black Myth: Zhong Kui” shares “Black Myth: Wukong”‘s foundation on ancient Chinese myths and folklore. The game will remain a single-player ARPG experience and will follow the same business model as its predecessor. Instead of playing as the monkey god Wukong from Zhong Kui , players will control a new character.

There is currently no confirmed release date or window for the game. Since the game is still in early development, release is expected to be several years away. Game Science has yet to finalize the outline of Zhong Kui’s story and gameplay. It has been confirmed that “Black Myth: Zhong Kui” will be launched on PC and all mainstream console platforms. Game Science will share further updates on the game on its social channels.
