The NFL made a statistical correction for Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams on Wednesday. The correction was posted in Week 6 (for those not keeping score at home, it’s now Week 16).
In one game, Williams was initially given a negative five rushing yards. This has been changed to a fumble, fumble recovery and 0 yards rushing.

In fact, one person responded to the post and provided evidence that it would change his fantasy scoring and therefore his playoff eligibility:

It was a tough drive for the guy above, who would have scored five-tenths more if not for the negative five yards.

Mainly: Why does this stat revision only happen after 10 weeks?
There are strange things all around.
