Bills news: Post-draft 53-man roster predictions

With the 2026 NFL Draft now a thing of the past, the Buffalo Bills’ offseason schedule moves into the next phase: rookie minicamp, which begins in a week at the team’s facility in Orchard Park.

The offseason schedule also includes Organized Team Activities (OTA) offseason workouts scheduled for May 18-19, May 21, May 26-28 and June 1-4 before concluding the spring program with mandatory minicamp June 9-11.

As the Bills begin their pursuit of a Super Bowl title, these meetings will provide Brandon Beane and Joe Brady with the first opportunity to evaluate the talent on the roster and will give players a chance to make their case for earning a spot on the 53-man roster.

With the Bills adding 10 players in the 2026 NFL Draft, expect to face stiff competition at multiple spots on the 53-man roster, including the wide receiver room, offensive and defensive lines, and secondary.

Players who may be vying for roster spots include: wide receivers Mecole Hardman Jr. (pictured below), Jalen Virgil and Trent Sherfield, safeties Damar Hamlin and Sam Franklin Jr., defensive tackles DeWayne Carter, Zion Logue and Phidarian Mathis. Mathis, as well as offensive linemen Lloyd Cushenberry III, Chase Lundt and Nick Broeker.
