A Bellbrook-Sugar Creek Local School District contract employee no longer works for the district after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

A Bellbrook High School staff member noticed behavior between a student and the contractor, and an investigation was launched into the employee.

The district said in a statement to families that after receiving the report, law enforcement was contacted and an investigation was launched.

An internal investigation concluded that the contractor’s actions violated the district’s policy on appropriate employee-student boundaries, and as of Feb. 20, the employee is no longer under contract with the district.
“The Bellbrook-Sugar Creek School District applauds the swift and impressive actions taken by its staff and administrators following the recent revelations of concerning behavior,” the district said.

They also encourage anyone who sees or hears something concerning to report it to school administration immediately. Anonymous reports can be submitted through 888-SaferOH.
