The NFL offseason has officially begun and the biggest domino has fallen, with superstar pass rusher Maxx Crosby being traded after a week of rumors and speculation.
The Las Vegas Raiders have finalized a trade that would send Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks, ending the Chicago Bears’ hopes of including Crosby in a potential trade.

Chicago will likely turn their attention to free agency as they look to upgrade their pass rush opposite veteran Montez Sweat and have some good options. That includes Trey Hendrickson and Cam Jordan, both of whom have worked with Bears defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.
Earlier on Friday, general manager Ryan Poles made a move to fill a hole on the roster by trading a 2027 fifth-round pick to the New England Patriots for center Garrett Bradbury. Now, with free agency looming, edge rushers remain a need.
