Javier Fernandez joins Nuremberg on loan
Spain U18 international Javier Fernandez will join 1. FC Nuremberg on loan. The Ourense native has scored eight goals for Bayern’s U19 team and two for Bayern’s reserves over the past two seasons, but has been plagued by injuries this season. Nonetheless, Bayern chose to continue betting on him, extending his contract and loaning him out to the highest level of his career.

Grayson Detoni joins Darmstadt on loan
Virginia-born Californian Grayson Dettoni has spent the past decade in Munich, first at 1860 College and then moving to the FCB campus. The 20-year-old defender has now made 45 appearances for Bayern’s reserve team in the fourth-tier regional league. Darmstadt planned to test the centre-back and immediately award him a number four tricot jersey.
