Baltimore Ravens interview Kevin Stefanski and Klint Kubiak for head-coach vacancy

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — The Baltimore Ravens interviewed former Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski and Seattle offensive coordinator Clint Kubiak about their head coaching vacancy on Friday.

Earlier this week, the Ravens fired John Harbaugh after 18 seasons at the helm. On Thursday, they interviewed two Denver assistants — Vance Joseph and Davis Webber.

Stefanski was fired by the Browns after six seasons as coach. Stefanski, 43, has won two Coach of the Year awards and led Cleveland to its first playoff victory in a quarter-century, but the Browns have won just eight games over the past two seasons.

This is Kubiak’s first season as offensive coordinator for the Seahawks, who will receive a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs this week. He served in the same role in New Orleans last season. He also served as Minnesota’s offensive coordinator.

Kubiak is the son of former NFL coach Gary Kubiak, who was the coach when the Denver Nuggets won the Super Bowl a decade ago.
