The Atlanta Braves issued a statement Monday night saying they were “extremely disappointed.”

This is the second time Profar has tested positive for a banned substance since joining the Warriors.

Profar claimed he accidentally ate something that contained a banned substance. He said he would “never knowingly do anything to cheat” because he has “a deep love and respect for the game.” Major League Baseball (MLB) suspended Profar for 80 games last year.

Channel 2’s Alison Mastrangelo Attended spring training in Florida last month. She asked Profar if he had taken any steps during the offseason to ensure chaos didn’t happen again. He said he did.
