Jurien Timber’s injury issue does not appear to be serious based on a review of game film, but in the worst-case scenario, the guard could still miss several weeks.

Urien Thibault, who was forced out of Arsenal’s game against Everton on Saturday due to injury, noticed a problem midway through the first half and initially tried to continue but was substituted in the 38th minute.
Considering the way the game ended, with Max Dowman breaking the Premier League record and Arsenal scoring a dramatic three points, no one thought to ask Mikel Arteta about Timber’s injury after the game.
So we’ll have to wait until Arteta’s pre-Leverkusen press conference for the latest news. But a review of game tape suggests the problem wasn’t too serious.
Physio Scout reported on social media that television footage showed Timber dealing with two issues, a lateral ankle sprain and a potential adductor issue.

If the ankle is the main issue, Timber could even be back playing in less than a week. However, a lateral sprain accompanied by any structural damage could mean missing several weeks.
The adductor injury could mean missing a few weeks, so if that is the main issue Timber will be ruled out for this week’s Champions League last-16 second leg and Sunday’s Carabao Cup final.
The good news is that the international break is after that, so if the Netherlands are forced to leave Thimble out, he will have some time to recover before Arsenal’s next game.

Timber has been a regular starter for Arsenal this season, making 43 appearances in all competitions, so losing him for any length of time will be a blow. But Arsenal do have options in his absence, with Christian Mosquera coming on against Everton, but Ben White can also feature at right-back.
Arteta should provide an update at his press conference on Monday afternoon, but Arsenal have an open training session after midday which could also give us a hint.
