LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas State Police officials have released more information about a shooting on Interstate 630 late Saturday that left three people injured.
The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday on westbound Interstate 630 near the two-mile marker in downtown Little Rock, according to a news release.
Three of the six people in the car were shot by a suspect in another car. After the incident, the vehicle carrying the victim came to rest on the shoulder of the highway, while the suspect vehicle did not stop.

Two 16-year-old males were transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital and a 22-year-old female was transported to another local hospital. One of the 16-year-olds was treated and released, while the other two victims remain in hospital.
Detectives with the ASP Criminal Investigations Division are investigating the incident and will release more information as it becomes available.
