TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona has signed football player Brent Brennan to a two-year contract extension through the 2030 season that will pay him $4.7 million annually.
The school also extended the contracts of offensive coordinator Seth Dorje and defensive coordinator Danny Gonzalez through the 2028 season in deals announced Friday.

“The momentum built by Coach Brennan and his staff this season has positioned Arizona State football and Arizona State track and field for continued success, and this extension ensures our continued ability to achieve our goals of competing for a championship,” Arizona State athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois said in a statement.
Arizona had a breakout season in Brennan’s second season, going 9-4 and more than doubling its win total from the previous year. Brennan led the Wildcats to a 23-7 victory over rival Arizona State to rise to No. 17 in the College Football Playoff rankings, but lost to SMU in the Holiday Bowl.
In Brennan’s second season, Arizona made huge improvements on defense, ranking seventh nationally in passing and 19th in total defense after being one of the worst defenses in the FBS the year before.
