The appointment marks Laho’s return to Camarondo, having previously served as an assistant at the club alongside Frank Dumas during the 2021-2022 season. He is a familiar face, highly regarded within the club and seen as the right person to spark the renaissance in the sport that everyone hopes for.
In his official statement, TP Mazembe highlighted the new coach’s human and technical qualities, as well as his ability to inspire the best performance from the team. Currently in second place in the Congolese Championship behind Saint-Eloilpopo, the club will now aim to maintain consistency and efficiency as the season progresses.
