Massimilano Allegri has been at Milan for less than a year and after a week of rumors linking him with a move to Real Madrid, he was given the chance to comment on his future: “We haven’t achieved anything yet”.
Reports in Italy this week suggested Allegri had been a long-term pursuit of Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez, with the La Liga giants potentially preparing to make a move to replace Alvaro Abeola as Milan boss.

It has even been suggested that Allegri is keen on bringing trusted Milan and former Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot to the Bernabeu, along with Luka Modric in some coaching capacity.
The latest news is that Milan is now keen to extend Allegri’s contract, possibly until 2028, due to Real Madrid’s interest.
Allegri comments on Madrid rumors and Milan future
Allegri has since had the chance to address recent rumors surrounding his future at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s match against city rivals and league leaders Inter Milan.

“I am linked to Milan until 2027. My future is tomorrow. I am living well at Milan and I am very happy,” the Milan head coach told the media on Saturday.
“We only started our journey in July. The club is working towards the future. But until we can achieve our goals we have to focus on the present. We haven’t achieved anything yet.”
