MVP has seemingly received terrible coverage at the hands of “Dirty Watch” over the years, so the veteran has a legitimate hatred for them.
“Professionally speaking? What happens in the booking room, what happens in the locker room? It should stay in the locker room, it should stay in the office, it shouldn’t be fan fodder,” he said on an episode of the “Marking Out” podcast, further slamming the “dirty sheets” as “yellow journalism.” “This is rumor and innuendo – gossip – disguised as news… I don’t want to spend too much time talking about these idiots because I have zero respect for them.”

MVP went on to say he’s brutally honest and claimed he’s never had a problem knowing who he likes and doesn’t like in the industry, suggesting there’s no room for innuendo between him and anyone else. There were rumors a while ago that MVP was romantically involved with Mike Bailey, but according to the veteran, everyone in AEW gets along great.
“I mean, yeah, you’re always going to have professional, you know, disagreements,” he claimed, adding that everyone wants to be at the top, so conflict is bound to happen. “For the most part, I don’t know anyone in the AEW locker room who would have a legitimate feud with anyone!”
The veteran then reiterated that the industry paid too much attention to the “dirt sheet” but insisted that when it is a report that is essentially character defamation, you should address it. Additionally, he had this to say when it came to star ratings: “For you wrestlers? You know, especially you young men and women, your reward, your star rating? Is it the crowd applauding you at the end of the match?” the MVP declared. “The fans let you know how good your game is.”
