Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available as a one-week free trial across platforms next week. Activision has announced that certain modes of its latest shooter will be available for free on PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms from December 13th to December 20th. The publisher says the free trial will include multiplayer and Zombies, including new multiplayer maps like Hideout and Hacienda. However, the Black Ops 6 campaign will not be included in the 7-day free access period.

Activision Blizzard announced the game’s free trial week in a post on X, confirming that the new maps and modes introduced in Black Ops 6 Season 1 will be available as part of the trial.
Multiplayer maps available in the free trial include Racket, Hacienda, Nuke Town Holiday, Extraction, Hideout and Heirloom, an accompanying infographic confirms. Players will have access to classic multiplayer modes such as Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Kill Order. The popular Prop Hunt mode, which brings a hide-and-seek fun to traditional Call of Duty multiplayer gameplay, will also be included.

Finally, players can also try Call of Duty’s PvE mode Zombies during the free trial, complete with Freefall and Terminal maps.
Activision Blizzard is also preparing to release a mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Season 1 of Reloaded launches on Thursday, December 5, bringing with it three new multiplayer maps: Manor, Racket, and Nuketown Holiday. The update will also add a new zombie map called Citadelle des Morts.
In addition to the new map, Season 1 of Reloaded will add new weapons and perks, new modes, new zombie enemies, new gameplay content, and more. The update’s two new limited-time multiplayer modes include “Ran-Snack” and “Infectious Holiday,” both of which will be added on December 12th.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases on October 25th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. The game is free for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
