Something really big might be coming to McDonald’s menus in the U.S., and the internet is already starting to plan accordingly.
Food blogger Snackolator recently unveiled a rumored new burger called the Big Arch, describing it as a burger stacked with two quarter-pound patties, onion strips, crispy onions, three slices of white cheddar cheese, and the new Big Arch sauce. The comments section is sold (and probably drooling on their screens). “I’ve been following this forever! Happiness is finally here!” one person wrote, while another jumped straight to the logistics, simply saying “Let’s go.”
However, this is not the first time the Gateway Arch has appeared. As early as 2024, McDonald’s had already tested larger burgers in three international markets, including Portugal and Canada. Since then it’s been on menus overseas – and in the UK it’s not even a test anymore. This is a permanent project.
That might explain why some seem ready for it to land here. “This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for!! 😋,” one commenter said, while others admitted, “I’m embarrassed by my excitement.”
As for whether it will indeed be coming to the US market soon, Snackolator claims it will be released on March 3rd. Judging from the responses, at least some people already know what they’re doing if it comes up. My advice? Wear a dark shirt and maybe bring some extra napkins from home.
