A Durham pizza restaurant has closed after 4 years. Here’s what we know

Although the restaurant still shows business status online, Bella Napoli Pizzeria and Italian Grill Phone lines have been cut and the restaurant is not taking online orders.

The restaurant’s sign is still hanging outside patterson square building, but the lights are off and the doors are locked. On the morning of Friday, March 6, a “News Observer” reporter saw some tables and chairs stacked at the entrance when visiting.

Bella Napoli did not announce the closure, but its last Facebook post was on Monday, January 26.

Brian Grabowski, senior vice president of TradeMark Properties, which oversees leasing at Patterson Place, told the N&O in an email that the restaurant closed around mid-February.

This matches the experience of social media users, who have reported canceled orders and finding doors locked in recent weeks.

Bella Naples Opening in November 2021 exist 3511 Witherspoon Avenue. It’s located across from the future OneLife Fitness, which is expected to open this summer in the former Big Lot space.

Other new stores at Patterson Place include Bob’s Discount Furniture and Boot Barn. The shopping center is also home to The Home Depot, Kohl’s and Total Wine.

Bella Napoli sells pasta dishes such as lasagna, macaroni and spaghetti, as well as margherita, Hawaiian, meat-lovers and other specialty pies, as well as calzones and stromboli, salads, sandwiches and seafood entrees.
