WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — New Mexico State Police say one person was killed when a single-engine Cessna 400 crashed on a golf course Friday.
The plane took off from Wichita at 9:22 a.m. and crashed at the Los Altos Golf Course in Albuquerque around 11:45 a.m.
Police said the plane, registered in Wichita, was attempting an emergency landing.

There were two people on board, both of whom were taken to hospital. One person died, police said. Another person is in critical condition.
The Federal Aviation Administration has been asked to assist in the investigation.
