LAS VEGAS (AP) — Della Gibbs-Lawhorn scored a career-high 42 points and Tyrion Jones’ go-ahead layup with 12 seconds left in overtime gave the University of Nevada, Las Vegas an 85-83 victory on Saturday night.
Gibbs Lawhorn shot 14 of 22 from the field, hit eight 3-pointers and made all six free throws for the Rebels (15-14, 10-8 Mountain West Conference). Jacob Bannarbie had 15 points and six rebounds, while Jones scored 12 points off the bench.

Vaughn Weems scored a career-high 30 points for the Wolves (19-10, 11-7). Tayshawn Comer scored 15 points but shot just 3-for-12 from the field, while Elijah Price added 10 points.
Wimes scored 12 points in the first half to help Nevada take a 37-35 lead into halftime. Gibbs Lawhorn, who scored 19 points in the second half, hit a three-pointer with 37 seconds left to tie the game at 74 and force overtime.
