CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Brandon Miller had 26 points and eight rebounds and the Charlotte Hornets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 109-93 on Saturday for their fourth straight win.
Miller hit 6 three-pointers, and the Hornets made 16 of 42 from beyond the arc. They had made 72 three-pointers in the previous three victories, tying the NBA three-game record for three-pointers in a single game.

Coby White, who came off the bench, scored 20 points, and LaMelo Ball scored 15 points and 8 assists. Moussa Diabate had 13 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to help Charlotte close the deficit to .500, 30-31.
Jrue Holiday scored 25 points and Jerami Grant scored 21 for the Trail Blazers, who were without All-Star Deni Avdija for the third straight game due to a back injury.
Portland missed all 10 three-pointers in the first quarter and Charlotte led 29-17. In the second quarter, Miller hit 4 three-pointers and scored 12 points. The Hornets led 51-43 at halftime.
After the three-pointer, the Trail Blazers chased the score to 74-67, but lost again in the fourth quarter, missing 10 of 12 three-pointers. The Trail Blazers made 11 of 47 three-pointers (23.4%).
