Sunday: Cloudy with some snow. Most are 4-8 inches. High 48.
Tonight: Heavy snow, with more in the east. Low 35.
Monday: Cloudy with scattered snow showers. Hello,36.
We expect snow to begin this morning and continue throughout the morning and afternoon. Saturday will be warm and sunny, with temperatures today just above 32 degrees, so we expect some of the snow to melt throughout the day, eventually creating slushy patches in backyards and farm fields. Main roads should remain wet from morning to early afternoon.
Snow will continue into tonight as northeasterly winds pick up near the coast. This will lead to more snow in eastern Pennsylvania. Parts of Lebanon, York and Lancaster counties could see additional snow Sunday night into Monday, leading to totals of 4-8 inches in most areas. More than 8 inches of snow could fall in far eastern Lebanon County, Lancaster City and eastern areas. The heaviest snowfall will extend beyond the viewing area near Philadelphia and into New Jersey. Here are the latest snow maps of the area:
We need to keep an eye on the weather forecast for tonight/evening and Monday for any possible changes. This is the most uncertain part of the forecast. We’ll have more updates throughout the day. stay tuned…
By the middle of the week, temperatures will become more seasonal, with highs reaching the mid-40s. We may see some precipitation on Wednesday and Thursday.
