Richard Hughes is working hard to build a huge team. Our goal is to build a team that can compete for top honors for many years to come.
Of course, this means change is coming. Liverpool will have to move on with players, saying goodbye to legends, as well as players they may not want to sell but have to because of the way the club is run.
That was the case with guys like Jarell Quansah or Tyler Morton last summer. Liverpool might prefer to keep them. But they were able to sell these players at huge profits, costing the Reds an eye-watering £450m in the summer transfer window.
However, this leaves Liverpool somewhat deficient in terms of local teams. Another England youth international doesn’t help either.

There is a lot of exciting talent in Liverpool’s academy. At England Under-15 level, the Reds have record-breaking Luca Eden, who has already been compared to Steven Gerrard.
The England U16 squad features Josh Abe, Vincent Joseph and Shadrach Ekiugbo.
Meanwhile, the England U17 side have recently called up Eric Farkas and Liam Balmer.
Typically, the players representing the Three Lions are often the most talented players in the academy. That’s why it’s surprising that Liverpool let go of the aforementioned Balmer.
According to Scousers Rising, Balmer will leave Liverpool at the end of this season. We understand that his contract at the club has expired and he has not been offered a scholarship.

This was a huge surprise because Ballmer is such a talented player. He is a tenacious full-back who has even attracted attention during England international matches.
Now that his Anfield chapter is coming to an end, he may not be short of suitors. A player as talented as him is definitely good enough to have a brilliant career in the game.
But it’s a surprising choice for Liverpool. Especially since they’ve had to outsource Alvin Eyman at left back at the U18 level all season, a role that Balmer could have easily filled.
Of course, Cam Williams is a talented left-back who has had some bad luck with injuries this season but is highly rated after having trained with the Scotland senior team as a 16-year-old, but competition is always fierce.
Letting Balmer go could prove to be a huge mistake for Liverpool.
