LeBron James Expresses Desire to Visit Israel: “I’ve Heard Nothing But Great Things”

NBA superstar LeBron James said Sunday he would love to visit Israel one day, praising the country and thanking fans there for their support.

The NBA superstar was asked on Sunday about Israeli basketball player Deni Avdija, who made history by becoming the first Israeli basketball player to play in the NBA All-Star Game.

The 41-year-old Lakers superstar said of Avdija: “I was quoted on Deney and asked what I thought of his season. I said I believe he is an All-Star. He plays great basketball.”

James then spoke about the NBA superstar’s Israeli fans.

“I’ve never been there, but if I have fans there, then I hope you’ve been following my career. I hope I can inspire people there to not only excel in sports, but to be better in life. Hopefully one day I can be successful there. I hear nothing but great things.”
