SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Super Bowl 60 was interrupted early in the fourth quarter when a fan ran onto the field.

A shirtless man ran from the direction of the Seahawks’ end zone, forcing a brief pause in play. He ran a long way as security tried to converge on him, but they actually separated on the other half of the pitch and he spread his arms in a victory pose as he continued his sprint. As he approached another group of defenders who were deploying to stop him, Patriots receiver Kyle Williams broke away from his group and jogged toward the man in what appeared to be a half-hearted attempt to stop him.

Williams stood near the fan, and security eventually arrested the fan near the 10-yard line and removed him.
