All northbound lanes closed on I-77 in Charlotte after overnight crash

CHARLOTTE (Queen City News) – All northbound lanes of Interstate 77 near Clanton Road in Charlotte are closed after an overnight crash.

The accident happened at approximately 12:17 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, near mile marker 7, just before Exit 7.

Overnight ice storm will cause dangerous conditions across Charlotte area into Sunday

According to NCDOT, all four northbound lanes are closed. Currently, the road is expected to reopen around 5:17 a.m., but the schedule is subject to change.
