The fifth-ranked Oregon Ducks defeated James Madison 51-34 in the first round of the College Football Playoff last weekend to earn a berth in this week’s Orange Bowl, where they will face fourth-ranked Texas Tech. The game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, was one of the more even games in the CFP quarterfinals, although some analysts predicted the Red Raiders would win.
The Orange Bowl game is the first of three major New Year’s Day bowl games to be broadcast on ESPN and will be broadcast live on ESPN Unlimited.
