Football: TCU TE DJ Rogers accepts invitation to 2026 Senior Bowl

TCU Horned Frog tight end DJ Rogers has been selected to play in the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl on Saturday, January 31, in Mobile, Alabama. Rodgers, a former four-star high school recruit out of Bellevue, Washington, has caught 32 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns this season, both career bests. Rodgers has been with the Horned Frogs for five years and has 51 career catches for 520 yards and five touchdowns.

Rodgers recorded his first career catch in 2023 and saw his role improve in 2024, catching 12 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder is the first TCU player to accept an invitation to the Senior Bowl this offseason. The Senior Bowl is an annual showcase game for the top senior players from the college football world. Notable players from TCU in recent seasons include Jack Bech, Josh Newton, Jared Wiley, Brandon Coleman and Emani Bailey.
