The foundation of Philadelphia’s success this season is an All-NBA season Tyrese Maxey and the revival of Joel Embiid. The Sixers’ ability to keep Embiid healthy for the remainder of the regular season will determine how far they go this spring. To that end, the former MVP is not expected to play in Sunday’s game due to slash issues.
