The San Francisco 49ers have been quite active this offseason, adding a number of free agents from other teams, while some of their players who finished last season have also left the team to pursue new opportunities.

While San Francisco will likely add more players as the offseason unfolds, let’s take a look at where the offense looks after the first week of free agency.

Despite ongoing rumors about Mac Jones potentially being traded, the quarterback room remains intact. It looks like the 49ers are happy to keep him unless they get eliminated.

Christian McCaffrey will lose his backup spot as Brian Robinson Jr. remains on the market, but 2025 fifth-round pick Jordan James is expected to take his spot on this year’s depth chart.

Wide receiver has been the biggest change of any position for the 49ers this season, as they have/are losing Jauan Jennings, Kendrick Bourne, Skyy Moore and Trent Taylor. The addition of Evans does change the game, however, as Purdy has a legitimate No. 1 receiver to throw to.

The tight end room isn’t going through any changes, but Kittle will likely miss most of the year with a torn Achilles, so it would be nice for them to have Tongas back in 2026.

On the offensive line, San Francisco allowed Ben Batch and Spencer Burford to hit the market, leaving a hole at left guard. Troth can fill that void, but it could be a competition between him and Colby when the offseason begins.
