4 Costco Tech Deals That Rival Amazon’s Big Spring Sale

Amazon’s annual Spring Sale starts on March 25, but some early spring sales on Amazon start before the big event. Costco also has amazing seasonal deals right now, some of which rival the best price cuts Amazon has to offer. Considering how generous Costco’s electronics rules are, which include a 90-day return window and a minimum two-year warranty, it’s worth the effort to compare costs and buy from Costco when the price is right.

Costco also offers a sign-up bonus for new members. Memberships start at $65 per year, but you can get a $45 Costco digital store card after joining by using promo code SPRING26. Memberships also include other online shopping perks, so it’s a great way to take advantage of spring sales. Some of these discounts only last until the end of March, though, so now is the time to stock up on hot electronics before the seasonal blowout ends.

The Blink whole home security camera kit includes a video doorbell, three outdoor security cameras, a pan/tilt camera, and the Sync Module XR hub that connects all of these devices. Costco is selling the set for $169.99 through March 31, which is $100 off the original price. The Sync Module XR can connect up to ten Blink Outdoor 4 cameras, and the pan-tilt camera is compatible with the Alexa voice assistant and can activate video streaming or two-way audio.

Amazon has a similar deal in its big spring sale, with the Blink Video Doorbell + Outdoor 4 bundle on sale for $103.99. Amazon’s sale doesn’t include the additional gimbal camera, though. The gimbal camera itself sells for $39.99, so the overall savings from both retailers are nearly identical. If you’re interested in building a comprehensive home surveillance system with multiple placeable and adjustable cameras, it’s worth buying from Costco.

Apple Watch Series 11

Apple Watch Series 11 is Apple’s latest health-focused smartwatch. Costco sells the 42mm version for $299.99, down from $399. The 46mm size is down to $329.99 from the original price of $429. Both are available with the AppleCare+ protection plan for an additional fee at checkout.

Amazon is selling the Google Pixel Watch 4 for under $290 during its Spring Sale, and the Apple Watch Series 11 is also on sale at the same reduced price as Costco’s sale. Costco’s Apple Watch sale is valid until March 28, so if you’re looking to score a good deal from somewhere other than Amazon, the clock is ticking. Costco also offers a 90-day return policy for the Apple Watch, so this is a great opportunity to see how the smart wearable can improve your sleep and fitness habits after a few months of use.

Sony Bravia 5 Series 65-inch TV

Sony Bravia 5 Series 65-inch TV – Sony/Costco Wholesale

Sony Bravia 5 series is a 4K Mini-LED smart TV. Costco is selling the 65-inch model of this monitor for $1,099.99 through March 29. That matches Amazon’s going price for the same product, but as an added bonus, Costco includes the Allstate 3-year protection plan on top of its default two-year warranty on electronics, for a total of five years of coverage at no extra cost.

Amazon has a similar price tag on its 65-inch 4K Mini-LED Fire TV during its big spring sale. The Fire TV is currently $170 off, while Costco’s Sony Bravia 5 is $400 off its original price, with a bundled protection plan valued at $99.99. Bravia TV also comes with two years of Sony Pictures Core Streaming and 15 movie credits, which you can redeem for any movie from Sony’s selection. It’s an inexpensive option for high-end Mini-LED displays that offer better lighting control than traditional LED TVs.

Insta360 X5 8K 360° Action Camera Kit

Insta360 X5 – 8K 360° Action Camera Kit – Insta360/Costco Wholesale

The Insta360 X5 8K 360° Action Camera Bundle is on sale at Costco for $469.99 until March 31st. Insta360 X5 is a high-end waterproof camera equipped with triple AI chips that can shoot or record with a 360-degree view at 8K resolution. For $80 less than the original price, you also get an “invisible” selfie stick that won’t show up in camera photos or videos, and a 256 GB Micro SD card, which normally sells for about $40.

Costco’s sale price is about the same as Amazon’s spring sale for the standalone Insta360 X5 camera. However, Costco offers even greater value by bundling a selfie stick and a 256 GB Micro SD card for $469.99. This is equivalent to Amazon’s “Virtual Tour” bundle, which currently sells for $540. It’s worth noting that the Insta360 X5 is another high-end technology product covered by Costco’s 90-day return policy.
