2027 Delaware offensive tackle schedules Tennessee football visit

Tennessee is recruiting its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star offensive tackle Leighton Von Brandt is scheduled to visit Tennessee on March 28. He will also visit Virginia Tech, Auburn, Florida State, Notre Dame and Penn State.

The 6-foot-6, 270-pound prospect comes out of Appoquinimink High School in Middletown, Delaware. 247Sports ranks him as the fifth offensive tackle in his class and the No. 1 player in the state of Delaware.

Tennessee extended an offer to Von Brandt on February 21, 2025, and he will make his first trip to the Vols on March 28.

Von Brandt previously committed to Penn State on November 9, 2024. He retired from the Nittany Lions on Oct. 12, 2025, when Penn State announced it was parting ways with head coach James Franklin.

Syracuse became the first school to offer him a scholarship on February 21, 2024. Other schools offering him scholarships include Charlotte, Rutgers, West Virginia, Boston College, Indiana, Delaware, Akron, Georgia, Virginia, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio State, Florida State and Stanford.

Tennessee has five commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife and quarterback Derrick Baker.
