LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Two fast-food chains along Creeasy Lane in Lafayette are temporarily closing for what officials described as planned upgrades or unplanned construction.
The Culver’s store at 340 N. Creasy Lane will be closed until 4 p.m. on Jan. 11, a West Lafayette Culver’s employee said by phone Tuesday. The restaurant’s closure allowed for a complete remodel, including updates to the dining room, menu boards and kitchen equipment.
The Lafayette Chick-fil-A restaurant at 50 N. Creasy Lane said in a Facebook post Monday that a water main break in the city forced the restaurant to temporarily close. Construction crews were working along South Street on the south side of the restaurant on Tuesday.

“Stay tuned. We will make another announcement once we are able to open,” the restaurant wrote in the post. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”
