WWE Raw April 6, 2026: Start Time, Rumors And Expectations

Highlights

  • Rules for the World Championship may change on Monday night.

  • Friday’s surprise reveal on SmackDown may carry over to Raw.

  • Several big stars are running out of time to get a spot at WrestleMania.

With 12 days left until WrestleMania 42, WWE is looking at another potentially important episode of Monday night’s show at the Toyota Center in Houston. There’s a lot going on here, including potentially adding a new layer to some of what we saw on SmackDown on Friday night with Pat McAfee and Randy Orton.

There will obviously be more CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns matches and maybe more Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar matches.

What time does Raw start?

Netflix streams Raw Air from Toyota Center in Houston, Texas at 8pm ET/7pm CT. Doors open at 6:30pm local time. This is the penultimate Raw before WrestleMania 42 on April 18-19 at Allegiant Arena in Las Vegas.

Any remaining card additions or stipulation changes will need to be made within the next two weeks. Time is running out.

What should we expect from Punk and Dominion?

It feels like a rule change is coming. Last week, Punk powerbombed Reigns at GTS at MSG. A week ago, Reigns attacked Punk with the help of The Uso Brothers. For weeks, their exchanges escalated.

A standard singles match was no longer enough for this feud. Street fighting, blood rules, or some kind of no DQ provision will match the strength of the build. A formal announcement could come Monday night.

What’s next for McAfee and Orton?

Cody Rhodes was on Raw last week and there’s reason to believe he’ll be back this week. Will McAfee be there too? This is the biggest problem. On SmackDown, McAfee was revealed to be Orton’s mysterious phone contact and immediately delivered a low blow to Cody.

His role at WrestleMania still needs to be defined. Is he a manager? The guy in the corner? Participants in the competition itself? A story that caught many people off guard should become clearer Monday.

Who else needs the WrestleMania spotlight?

The Los Angeles Cavaliers need to establish themselves at some level. The same goes for Julia Stratton and Tiffany Stratton. Anything that happens with Bianca Belair and Street Profits at WrestleMania 42 will be surprising.

With 12 days left until WrestleMania, it would be unusual for five big names not to compete at WrestleMania. Femi Lesnar’s match is confirmed, but he’s still very thin. Monday needs to start filling in those gaps before heading home to perform next week.
