Who’s in, who’s out for Commanders-Vikings in Week 14?

The Washington Commanders take on the Minnesota Vikings today at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Quarterback Jayden Daniels returns to the lineup after missing the previous four games with a dislocated elbow. Also returning to Washington is wide receiver Noah Brown. Brown has not played since Week 2 as he has been battling knee and groin injuries.

Star wide receiver Terry McLaurin returned last week. With Daniels and Brown back, this is the first time Washington has Daniels on the field with his top three receivers since the Week 2 loss to Green Bay. This was actually the first game this season for the Commanders to feature Daniels, their top three receivers and their projected starting offensive line. Right guard Sam Cosmi missed the first six games while recovering from offseason knee surgery.

Minnesota also gets a key returner: quarterback JJ McCarthy. Like Daniels, McCarthy is a top-10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, he has yet to experience similar success. McCarthy missed the game with an ankle injury and missed last week’s game with a concussion.
