A lot happened this offseason, and while we as White Sox fans are still angry about the low payroll and lack of core superstars, the team will undoubtedly improve in 2026. The acquisition of Munetaka Murakami from Japan was both a strength-building move on the court and a big reason for the shocking reversal of fortunes for a team that was so weak in free agency. But even if this move doesn’t pan out along with the White Sox’s countless other “AAAA” players this offseason, the young core of this team alone should show brighter days ahead.
