The current global crisis has led to an increase in the use of communication services, but it seems that they are temporarily able to cope with demand. Even though there seems to be enough bandwidth to accommodate peak usage, many of these services still need to be improved.

WhatsApp It is currently upgrading its mobile application with a number of improvements designed to allow multiple users to participate in audio and video calls. WABetaInfo Learned whatsapp plans to expand the group audio and video call restrictions on Android and iOS devices.

Currently, WhatsApp users can initiate group calls with up to 4 participants, but future updates will increase the number of participants you can invite to a group call to at least 6 people. It is not clear what the final number will be, but we know WhatsApp will apply the same enhancements to the video call group function.

None of these improvements are provided in the beta version of WhatsApp, but it is obvious in some code strings found by WABetaInfo. These are expected to be implemented in the Android and iOS versions of WhatsApp, but we do n’t know when they will be released.
