What is the snow emergency level today? Check Cincinnati road conditions

Greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky were blanketed in snow on Tuesday, December 2, with several counties still under a snow emergency.

As of 7:15 a.m., two local counties were under a Level 2 snow emergency, while most counties were under a Level 1 snow emergency.

Snow emergency level for Tuesday

Level 2 in Ohio means some roads are closed due to snow or ice and only those who deem it necessary to travel can use them.

A Level 1 Snow Emergency means roads are hazardous due to blowing and/or drifting snow and may be icy. Motorists are urged to drive with caution.

Here are the current snow emergency levels for each county as of 7:15 a.m. Tuesday:

Ohio

  • Hamilton County: Level 2 Snow Emergency. Roads may be dangerous and icy. Unnecessary travel is discouraged.

  • Butler County: Level 1 Snow Emergency. Roads may be icy and dangerous from blowing and drifting snow.

  • Warren County: Level 2 Snow Emergency. Roads may be dangerous and icy. Unnecessary travel is discouraged.

  • Clermont County: There is no snow emergency notice.

kentucky

  • Boone County: Level 1 Snow Emergency.

  • Kenton County: Level 1 Snow Emergency.

  • Campbell County: There is no snow emergency notice.

Cincinnati police implemented emergency crash reporting procedures on Monday and those procedures were still in effect as of Tuesday morning. If you are involved in a non-injury accident, exchange information with the other driver and report the accident to one of the school zones if possible.
