The company has begun sending media invitations to the launch event, which is scheduled to take place on December 9, 2019.
The invitation also shows that the upcoming smartphone will be launched with its V series. This means that the brand may launch a Vivo V17 smartphone in the country that is already officially listed in Russia. However, if it is displayed as a trailer image, it will show a punch display in the upper right corner. This could mean that India’s V17 variant may come with a punched design.
Although little is known about the Indian version of Vivo V17, similar specifications for the Russian version should be expected. First, the Vivo V17 is equipped with a 6.38-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded to 256 GB via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V17 smartphone has a diamond-shaped quadrangular rear camera setup, where the main lens is 48 megapixels, the sub lens is 8 megapixels, the depth sensor is 2 pixels, and the macro lens is 2 pixels. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Vivo V17 is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The phone measures 159.25 x 75.19 x 8.68mm and weighs 186.7 grams. Connection options include Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band WiFi and dual SIM card support.
