ORLANDO — UCF will have two home games against in-state opponents during the 2030 football season.
The school announced Tuesday, Feb. 3, that the Knights will re-sign Florida International as part of their three-game non-conference slate. UCF has also booked a 2030 home game against Florida as part of a two-game series with the Gators that begins in 2024.

The move is in line with UCF vice president and athletic director Terry Mohajir’s scheduling philosophy, which seeks to play one non-conference game per season with one team from the Power Four, one from the Power Six and one from the Football Championship Subdivision.

UCF and FIU met six times from 2011-17, with the Knights winning four of those games. Their latest win, 61-17, was UCF’s first of 13 wins in its historic undefeated season.
The Cavaliers will begin a home series with Pittsburgh in September, wrap up a series with North Carolina next year and are scheduled to play two games with Northwestern starting in 2028.
