Tinder is expanding its in-app video chat function to all users. After testing the feature in multiple countries, the popular dating app is now launching its “face-to-face” feature globally, which allows users to make video calls through the app itself. Users can video call potential partners without having to rely on third-party video services or sharing other contact methods. The face-to-face feature is only available after both parties have opted in.
According to reports, the “face-to-face” feature announced earlier this year was initially only available on iOS and Android devices in certain markets, but has now been rolled out to users worldwide. Tinder’s “face-to-face” feature is being promoted with the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Australia, Spain, Italy, France, Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Peru and Chile, and the exact timetable for arrival has not yet been announced . Gadget 360 contacted Tinder India to understand the availability of the feature in the country, and we will update this copy with more clarity.

After both parties unlock the function, you will see a confirmation message in the app. After that, click the video call icon with a match at the top of the chat screen. You will get a real-time video preview, then click call.
