A Justice Department lawyer broke down during a court hearing about ICE’s conduct and appeared to be tired of her job.

On Tuesday, Justice Department lawyers Julie Le Participated in federal hearing on ICE immigration enforcement in Minnesota. Bloom added in a follow-up tweet that Blackwell called the hearing because “he was frustrated that in the five habeas cases he presided over, he felt his orders were ignored, resulting in immigration detainees being held unconstitutionally for days.” Then, Bloom said, Ler admitted that the government’s lawyers “just couldn’t keep up.”
