Xiaomi revealed through a trailer posted on its website that Xiaomi will launch its “most compact” Xiaomi power bank in India on Thursday, November 5. The new product of the Chinese company may be Mi Power Bank 3 Ultra Compact, which is reportedly as small as a credit card, but has a capacity of 10,000mAh. Xiaomi has sold 5 power banks in the country, including 3 Mi brand options and 2 Redmi models.
Mi India Twitter account Announce Released on Monday. The announced tweet carries a link to a dedicated microsite that suggests key features of the upcoming Xiaomi device.
According to the detailed information on the microsite, the new product is the company’s “hidden power”, which indicates that the new Mi Power Bank will have a smaller design. The microsite also mentions that it will be the “most powerful” model in its range, and has the most compact form factor to fit in your pocket. It also claims to protect your equipment.
Xiaomi has not clearly confirmed the model it is preparing for the Indian market. However, there are rumors that this may be the Mi Power Bank 3 Ultra Compact model that was leaked by the mobile-focused blog MySmartPrice last month.
Mi Power Bank 3 Ultra Compact is said to make its debut in Europe with a capacity of 10,000mAh. However, it seems that Xiaomi initially brought the new model to the Indian market.
If we believe this rumor, the new Mi power bank model will support charging from MicroUSB and USB Type-C ports and provide power output through the two built-in USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports. It can also charge three devices simultaneously. It is said that the Mi Power Bank 3 Ultra Compact weighs 200 grams and measures 90×63.9×24.4mm.
